I have posted a couple of times over the past few days, but every post goes through moderation first, why is that?

if we just let people comment sooner or later they start throwing insults about

Surely that could become quite a job. Wouldn’t it be easier to let people report posts that are offensive or insulted them?
no because by then the damage is done – i have had a number of people accusing me as we let the comments go up in the first place – 2 cancelled their memberships – all because one supposed fan was rude to another – so no its best this way round – then i dont have to check the site every 5 minutes to make sure someone is not insulting someone else
